People assembled to watch the implosion of the Texas Stadium

Players wearing dallas cowboys jerseys had to say goodbye to their longtime home-Texas Stadium. More than 20,000 people gathered there Sunday to watch fireworks go off it at last time before a ton of dynamite lit up and got it to the ground.

The long-history building is known for its giant hole in the roof, so the God can watch his team, the local lore said. The Cowboys won five super Bowl during their 38 seasons in Texans Stadium. The local landmark also was home for the world famous Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders. Pam Seal, a cheerleader in 1975 said it's was much more emotional than he expected. It was like saying goodbye to an old friend. Jerry Jones bought the Cowboys and the stadium lease for $160 million in 1989. Jerry said he was sad the night he agreed to the deal. His daughter and grandaughter both cried.

Hundreds of people reached there Saturday and stayed over the night for the final party before the implosion at 7 a.m. The others more than 20,000 gathered at official locations. Some of the former Cowboys players also came taking a last look.
